There’s this really cool cafe located in Hongdae, but it’s away from the hustle and bustle of Hongda’s main busking area. Somewhere nestled between the quiet streets of Seoul are a few cute restaurants, cafes and donut shops. There are no flashy lights, and not many people.
This is where you can find one of the cutest cafes, I have seen. And I have seen plenty. This cafe’s name is CAFE연남동223-14, they also have another location CAFE연남동239-20.
Everything is black and white, like straight out of a comic or something. It has two areas for seating but both are quite small. I went with some of my favorite cafe buddies, we treated ourselves well that day. We each got a yummy velvet pecan cupcake and each got different coffees. I got a plain Vanilla Latte, while RT got a Mocha Latte, and LT was fancy she got a sugar/ toffee coffee. Her coffee just had a block of sugar in the shape of sponge bob.
All in all, it was a really cute place. We had a good time just taking a bunch of pictures and enjoying our time.
